Toys, games, and gifts represent one of the fastest-growing export categories supported by Vietnam’s strong manufacturing base and competitive costs. In 2023, exports under HS Code 95 reached nearly USD 5.9 billion, making Vietnam the world’s 2nd largest exporter.
The U.S. remains the top destination, accounting for nearly half of total shipments, followed by Japan and major EU markets (Germany, the Netherlands, UK). Vietnam’s toy exports rose 40% YoY, driven by demand for educational and wooden toys.
Forecasts show > 5% annual growth through 2033 — fueled by sustainable materials (FSC wood, rPET), safety compliance (EN71 / ASTM / REACH), and OEM / ODM capabilities.
